XEM conveyor belts are top cover is designed to be bent on longitudinal direction and has a higher rigidity on transversal direction, by using the reinforced fabric with monofilament, which gives a higher resistance to the canvas carcass.
The XEM conveyor belts type is a construction with many layers with cut edges, with a EP carcass (polyester/polyamide) or EE (polyamide/polyamide) and one insertion of monofilament.
On each side of EP or EE carcass one monofilament is inserted towards the top and bottom cover of the belt.
This can be deflected from horizontal on inclined or vertical plane and backwards, without arching or bending. The distortion and return of conveyor belt to original condition is progressive, due to the rigidity of the cross-rigid. The canvas fabric of the monofilament improves the belt structure without wearing the cleats and cover, which has a good abrasion resistance.
The quality of covers is according to DIN 22102/1-91, type W, X, Y, Z.
The maximum width of the conveyor belts is 1600mm, no matter that the belt is with closed edges or cut edges.
