Rubber scrapers


BHV Rubber produce and selling rubber scrapers. Rubber Scrapers can be mounted on “V” type snow ploughs, as diagonal scrapers, plug scrapers, also with arms and counterweights on the turning ends or on the conveyor belts powering stations for the sole purpose of eliminating material buildup on the rubber mats. Conveyor belts scrapers are made from rubber and are used to clean conveyor belts from the load which may adhere to the carpet. Scrapers are mounted on the devices found on the belt conveyor. These devices are mounted on the conveyor to such an extent that they ensure the rubber mat is cleaned in the area of the drive pulley on the carrying cover or the conveying cover in several points on the spot where the conveyor belt turns.


For this reason the material the scrapers are made of must provide resistance to climate factors, aggression resistance , tear resistance, resistance to wear with a low coefficient of friction at the contact with the tape and also proper hardness . Rubber scrapers with textile insertion for conveyors are used mainly on the dump where the transported material is very abrasive and sticky in wet conditions and high density.

Normal working temperature is between -40 ° C and +70 ° C.

Scraper systems used for cleaning parts have wear-resistant rubber blades with variable thickness (10-40 mm) which presses the tape with a maximum pressure of 0.1 bar.

Taking into account the difficult conditions of operation of scrapers in the lignite , especially where the material stockpile conveyed is very abrasive , sticky – in wet conditions and high density –  solutions were sought to increase the resistance of rubber to requests environment.

By using a mixture composition of rubber and impregnated textile plies, the ply is dispersed unevenly through the rubber mass , but for the most part, has a net reinforcement product with beneficial effects on all the characteristics that are required scraper :

  • a good compaction of the components in the product

  • enhanced cleaning effect by the appearance of a layer of rubber textile deploying and operation by brushing effect

  • excellent resistance to mechanical shock

  • resistance to tearing in the attachment

  • CONTENTlow coefficient of friction in contact with the tape, facilitating increased resistance to wear

  • durability as compared with a product entirely from rubber

Scrapers are manufactured at 2000x200x40 dimensions , the advantage being that one can replace only the worn areas, increasing the lifetime of the device.

Also, the vertical movement of the scraper  encourages its use until full consumption of the entire active area.


The features of the product lead to an increase in the operating time of at least 10 times a rubber scraper only in terms of quality.

Scrapers are made of rubber and textile insertion of content PES / PA at least 70 % the size of 2000x200x40 .
