TPU – Thermoplastic polyurethane is an excellent solution for protecting the conveyor belts from premature wear. Using these belts in mining industry all over the world showed the superiority of this material’s properties compared to others. Making a comparison between materials from the same range, covering with TPU protector layer leads to the increase of service life of the products with more than 20 times. The conveyor belt will take the best characteristics of the TPU: excellent abrasion resistance, increased flexibility to a wide temperature range, increased elasticity on the entire hardness range, good resistance to oils, grease and many solvents, good resistance to weather phenomena, while eliminating the necessity of plasticize. Also gives a good protection and resistance to radiation and microbial attacks.
The TPU conveyor belts are used in temperature range from -30 to +70°C.
The rubber layers are manufactured according to DIN 22102/1-91 or by customer’s specification.
